I remember people telling me that time goes faster the older you get. I never really believed them until now! Stella is 6 months old now and starting to eat solids and my sister is graduating high school this year!!! I feel like just yesterday when people would ask me how old Brittney was I would respond with “She is 10.” and Zach would look at me and say “No, She is 13 Brooke.” in my mind Brittney will always be 10 or at least I will wish she was because that would mean I would be 16!! We have gone through our ups and downs as sisters and friends…I think all siblings go through this. All I can say is I can’t wait to see where we will be in the next 5 years!! I love you Britt!!

I know this is post is past due but the holidays around here were a little crazy!! We had my family staying with us and a family friend from Sweden so our house was packed to the brim. Shockingly I put my computer away which Zach would say is pretty rare and focused on family time!! Here are a few photos I took for our Christmas card. I love that Nova and Stella are best friends!! I cant wait to see where this next year will take us as a family!!

The past 3 months have gone by way to fast, almost a blur!! The first month was full of relaxing, sleeping, feeding and cuddling Stella. The second month the three of us got use to well… the three of us! The second month was also busy with shooting a wedding and a couple other photo shoots. So now I am finally caught up on editing and able to work on my personal photos!! Here are a couple photos from this morning.

Two weeks ago we went to Chelan for a very special birthday!! I can’t even believe that a little over a year ago Brody was born. Time goes way to fast!! Here are a couple pictures of Brody playing in the snow.

At 10:55 am August 21st our lives were changed forever! Stella Averie was born weighing 6lbs 10oz and 19.5 inches long. From the moment she was placed on my chest I have not wanted to let her go!! I have gotten better at sharing her but I will honestly say I am a little bit of a hog when it comes to holding her.
Here is a picture of her at 1 week old, there will be many more to follow I am sure!!

Brody came into this world November 21st 2010!!! He is seriously THE cutest little boy ever!!! He has a head full of hair that naturally went up into a mini-mohwalk. Beyond adorable!! My dear friend Tiffany, who’s wedding I shot in July asked me to do baby pictures…which I could not refuse!! Here are a few that were taken and more are to come from my trip to Chelan this weekend to visit….
I am so excited to visit Tiffany & Brody!! Just a couple more days and I’ll be in Chelan!! Thank you so much Tiffany for letting me take pictures of Brody, I am so excited to watch Brody grow up!!

We decided to trek across the mountain passes to Idaho to spend Thanksgiving with my family. The road trip to and from was a little bit scary to say the least. I am SO glad I have a husband who is an amazing driver! Roads being closed didn’t even phase him…we just found a different route to take. Here are a few photos from a family walk we took on Thanksgiving…I kept getting left behind on the walk, my camera kept stopping me, It was a beautiful, cold, & snowy day! Perfect!!

Thanksgiving is a time to think of all the things you are thankful for. Here are a few of the things I am thankful for….An amazing husband, A home, A vehicle that got us over the insane mountain passes (GO jeeps!!), A family that loves me and mostly for God’s love and grace! A couple weeks ago I meet up with my Aunt to take some photos for her new website! She is a baker…I maybe a little biased but I would say she is a very good baker! She sells her cookies to local stores in the Seattle-Edmonds area. Here are some of the amazing cookies she makes….
These are rasberry white chocolate shortbread cookies…One of my favorites!!
“Crasin West Coast Cookie” another one of my favorites!
“Kryddan” I could eat these everyday!!
These are the well known “Love” cookies. Another one of my favorites….they melt in your mouth!
I dont think I can honestly pick one of her cookies to be my ‘favorite’ every time my Grandma or Aunt offer me some of the cookies to take home I try to only take only a couple but pretty soon my bag is full of every type of cookie she makes :)

Almost 2 years after Corrie and Nate said ‘I do’ they will be welcoming baby Annabelle in to our world. In less than a week we will all be gathering at the hospital congratulating Corrie and Nate and holding sweet baby Annabelle!! I can’t even believe she will be here, it feels like not that long ago they announced they were pregnant and Corrie and I were looking for paint paint ideas for her nursery and planning a baby shower!! 9 months goes by so fast!!
A couple weekends ago I got to do session for Corrie and Nate…We went down town edmonds and took some photos and the following weekend we got to take a couple more up at the family farm. Both days were absolutely beautiful we couldn’t have prayed for better weather!! Here are a few images from our session
